Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she immigrated to the United States. She came to prominence for her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from the year 2020. She was also a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had a regular role on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub, who was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At the age of 2 she left together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial troubles, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out of the school after her sophomore year, she was able to get an GED and went to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
